Carbon Fiber Infrared Heat Lamps: Power and Precision for Textile Drying
We built our 1600W and 2000W carbon fiber infrared heat lamps for one reason: to make textile drying faster, cleaner, and more efficient. They put heat exactly where you need it—right on the fabric—without wasting energy warming the air around it.
Power and voltage: designed to make your setup easier
These lamps run on 235V, and that’s not by accident. It means they pull less current than a standard 240V unit, so your wiring can be lighter and your control panel stays less stressed. And because we can pack more wattage into the same length, you get a lot of heating power in a small footprint. That’s a big win when you’re working with tight spaces in dryer ducts.
The build: quick, tough, and controllable
The carbon fiber elements heat up fast and respond immediately to PID control. That’s exactly what you need when your line speed changes and you need the temperature to keep up. The quartz envelope handles sudden temperature shifts and keeps the filament protected from drafts. We pair the lamps with R7s or Sk15 end-caps, so they drop straight into the fixtures you already have. One note, though: the quartz is strong against heat, but it’s sensitive to impact. So during installation, just handle it gently.
Why infrared works so well for textile drying
With infrared, heat hits the fabric surface and dries from the outside in. That means you don’t have to blast the core of the material, which helps you save energy and avoid over-drying that can weaken fibers. These lamps fit smoothly into conveyor dryers and drum dryers, and the wattage choice gives you real control. Whether you’re drying synthetics, blends, or coated fabrics, you can dial in the heat density for the job.
A heads-up for best results
Because the heat is concentrated, you do need good airflow and smart thermal management around the lamp zone. Plan your dryer airflow and reflector setup to match what the lamp is putting out, and you’ll avoid hot spots.
Built to run, built to last
We make these to work hard, day after day, and we’re serious about the specs. If you’re sizing a dryer line, just send us your throughput and the fabric type. We’ll help you match the lamp power to the process.
