Introduction
We built these carbon fiber infrared heating lamps for engineers who need heat—fast, focused, and right where they want it. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill heaters. They’re built for one thing: packing serious energy into a small space. The core was developed in Korea with industrial work in mind, where what matters is how quickly you can get heat and how steadily it stays under control.
What’s really going on under the hood
We run these lamps on 400V, which lets us squeeze 2,500W of power into a tube that’s only 300mm long. That’s a lot of heat density. So your target gets hot fast—and stays stable, even when the machine is under load. Choosing 400V also drops the current for the same wattage. That means smaller conductors and less stress on your connections. And because the tube is short, you get a tight thermal profile—perfect when your machine footprint is tight.
The build that actually holds up
Inside, you’ve got a halogen capsule and a quartz envelope. That combination gives you rapid response and the ability to run at high temperatures without drama. The carbon fiber element isn’t just tough—it keeps its resistance behavior steady, even when it’s heating up and cooling down over and over. The R7s base makes installation straightforward. It’s a solid mechanical and electrical fit, so you can swap lamps in without overthinking it. And if you’re dealing with vibration, the SK15 option helps keep the lamp seated the way it should—aligned and secure, not wiggling loose.
Where this shines—and what to keep in mind
A lot of people use these lamps for PET blowing, where you need to heat the surface quickly without warming up the whole machine. The infrared output hits the material directly, and the fast start-up keeps pace with short cycle times. But here’s the trade-off: that 2,500W density means you need proper cooling and shielding. Handle the thermal side thoughtfully, and you get predictable heat—exactly where you need it, exactly when you need it.
