That’s why we built the twin tube design. Instead of one filament, we tucked two carbon fiber elements into one quartz envelope. It’s a simple trick, but it doubles the heat output without taking up an extra inch of space on your line. Since we use carbon fiber instead of tungsten, these lamps run a bit cooler but pump out a lot more medium-to-long wave IR. If your materials are designed to soak up those specific wavelengths, you’ll notice the difference immediately. Things heat up faster. Your cycle times drop. Everything just moves quicker. Built to actually last We wrap the whole thing in high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because if air gets to those filaments, they oxidize and burn out. Simple as that. Plus, having two tubes means the heat spreads out more evenly. You won’t deal with those annoying “cold spots” that usually plague single-element setups. And don’t worry about the install—we use standard industrial connectors, so you can just swap these into your existing rig and get back to work. A few things to keep in mind You’ll see these doing the heavy lifting in PET blowing or plastic curing lines where you need a deep, consistent heat soak. But, because these lamps pack so much energy into such a small area, you’ve got to be careful with your reflectors. If they’re dirty or warped, you’re basically throwing heat away. And one last tip: check your cooling fans. These things get hot. If your fans aren’t sized right, the ends of the lamp will overheat and you’ll kill the lifespan of the heater. It’s a small detail, but it’s the difference between a lamp that lasts and one that pops in a month.
