We spec the lamp at high power density, typically 2500W at 400V, because that’s what keeps pace with fast line speeds. The tube is compact—around 300mm—so the heat footprint stays tight. That means it slips into those cramped curing zones without forcing you to redesign the whole setup. And because it runs at higher voltage, current draw drops. Less current means smaller conductors and less stress on the contacts in the fixture. It’s one of those small choices that makes the whole system tougher and more reliable. The carbon fiber emitter gets hot—fast. It hits target temperature quickly and holds steady, even when you’re cycling on and off a lot. That kind of responsiveness is a relief when the line is moving and you can’t afford lag. We pair that with an SK15 bi-pin end-cap base. It locks in place and handles high current without wiggling loose. The quartz envelope has a reflective coating, so more energy goes forward instead of spilling sideways. Less wasted heat.
