It handles the “on-off-on-off” cycling of a busy shop without burning out like those fragile standard filaments. The real-world stuff you need to know You can dry primers and topcoats in minutes. It’s fast. Really fast. But there’s a catch. Because these tubes are so powerful, you have to be spot-on with your distance. If you mount them too close to the body, you’re asking for “solvent pop” or those annoying little bubbles in the finish. You’ll want a control system with a well-tuned PID to keep things from overheating. And please, don’t cheap out on the wiring. If your cables are too thin, they’ll get hot under the load of a full bank, and that’s a headache nobody needs.
